Artist Bio

My work as a concert photographer captures the vibrant energy of live music performances. Through colorful and lively imagery, I explore the stories behind the bands, focusing on their origins and artistic journeys. My photography not only documents these moments but also looks at how the layering of images and their presentation on various materials can transform perceptions and provide multiple views for one image.

In my Pearl Street Co-op documentary book, I looked into the relationship between the artist and their audience, capturing the intensity of live performances while seeking to understand the musicians' backgrounds. While the photographs make up a unique narrative of the band, revealing the complexities of their journey through vivid colors. By experimenting with printing techniques such as layering images on materials like colored paper, transparent materials, and fabric, I look at the different ways of viewing and interpreting with photographs. This invites the audience to engage with the images in multifaceted ways, encouraging a deeper connection with the music and its creators.
